Mozart among Friends – August 9, 1991 | St.John's Church, Elora, ON
A celebration of Mozart's vocal and operatic music in the year of the 200th anniversary of his death

date: August 9, 1991

Mozart’s vocal compositions are among his finest; however, his solo songs as such provide only a few examples of this. Therefore, we enhanced our programme with church music and opera, together with music by composers (Gluck, Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Hahn) who influenced or admired him. Our two fine Mozartian singers were joined by the Elora Festival Singers and their conductor, Noel Edison.
