The second of three annual fundraising concerts for the Bayfield Town Hall was a reworking of Brush up your Shakespeare, a concert originally presented in Walter Hall on May 10, 1987. Most of the songs were in English, with brief visits to the French world with Fauré and Hahn. The final sequence of numbers from Kiss me, Kate ended the programme in ebullient style.
