A bicentenary tribute to Franz Liszt

Three superb singers presented a conspectus of Franz Liszt’s large output; the songs (in three languages, German, French and Italian) were interspersed by a few piano-duets and some Wagnerian fragments. The extraordinary events of Liszt’s life were related in our narration, in the preparation of which we were greatly assisted by the enormous, grand 3-volume biography by Alan Walker.
